Material types

Question — the initial problem. Research — a long material with sources and argument. Analysis — a study of a specific object or of someone else's material. Observation — a briefly recorded phenomenon. Note — a short thought. Dossier — a thematic collection. Intervention — a studio project. The type is stated on every material and defines what to expect from it.

Separating fact from opinion

Texts use markers: Fact, Data confirms, The source states, Interpretation, Hypothesis, Unverified, Opposing view, Editorial conclusion. This is not decoration but an obligation: the reader must see where the verifiable ends and our opinion begins.

Sources

If a material builds on someone else's work, the author, title, platform, date and link are given at the end. We retell and analyse but do not republish third-party materials in full. Quotations stay within the extent justified by their purpose.

Contested claims

Claims about people and organisations that require confirmation are not presented as established facts. Neutral attribution is used: "the author claims", "the material argues", "according to the cited source".

Updates and mistakes

Materials get updated. On a material change the update date changes and the status becomes "Updated". A factual error is corrected, and the correction itself is not hidden. Outdated materials receive the "Archived" status and stay available.

Independence

Materials are not paid for by third parties. If a publication relates to a studio project, this is stated directly in the text.
